Carson Street Towers

"I signed a lease with a friend of mine back in February of 2023. Almost immediately after signing the lease, the girlfriend of mine put me in an extremely uncomfortable situation. Because I had just come out of a traumatic experience where I lived previously, I immediately went to the apartment leasing office and let them know what was going on. I expressed the dire need to vacate the lease agreement I had just signed and not move in. They replied with several thousand in fees I'd have to pay ... even though I literally had just signed and I hadn't even moved in yet. I couldn't do that, so I had to move in. It was a horrible living experience to say the very least, and I have severe regrets about signing with this person, but I'm still apalled at the lack of compassion and lack of help the leasing office was willing to give me knowing I had literally just signed and hadn't even moved in. Yes, elevators were always breaking. There was lack of staffing. Lack of maintenance. Lack of communication. Constant fire alarm testings. All other things I felt were fine. Then, at the beginning of January, 2024, as I'm moving some of my things into a new house I'd just bought -- even though my lease isn't up for another couple months -- yea, living there was that bad -- apparently pipes burst when they were doing something with the sprinkler system. Apparently my room began flooding while I was away. Neither the apartment, nor my roommate, let me know that my room had been flooding. No phone call. No text. No email. No app notification. The apartment sent in a third party to demolish the walls and floor in my bedroom. I was never contacted about this happening, I just came home to find it gutted. I had already moved my animals to the new house, thank God. They left two large utility fans running constantly, and were draining all the water into my shower. My walls were gone, and the flooring was ripped out. This was the state of my bedroom for about 20 days. I asked the apartment why I was never contacted about this, and demanded a concession for my rent in the amount of 20 days. They (Jenell) said the flooding was a "natural disaster" and not their negligence, but they'd give me an "inconvenience" concession of $250. Right... So I respectfully continued to ask for more concessions because this just felt very shady ... like covering up negligence on their part. And instead of providing anything else or working on some kind of compromise, they (Jenell) used my roommate as a weapon to stand their ground -- as like a he-said, she-said, so we're not going to do anything else, kinda thing. But after using my roommate as a weapon to not be obligated to do anything else, they (Jenelle) then says that they have to remain "neutral". The flooding of the building, and demolishing of my living space (which I have videos and photos of), had nothing to do with my roommate. Carson Street Towers had an obligation to let me know that my living space (that I even worked from home in -- and paid pet rent for) was not going to be livable for several weeks. They had an obligation to tell me via email, via phone call, via the app, that my room was likely flooding and a third party was coming in to remediate. They did not. They say they contacted my roommate, but my roommate said that they left no voicemail the only time they called during that month, and when she called them back, their response was that they "called [her] by mistake". So yea, something shady has gone on here. When we have to pay the astronomical prices for rent, we also need to be very outspoken when "landlords" treat us this way. It's not okay. We are people with lives, and need to be okay advocating for ourselves when these companies do shitty things. This past year has been a very traumatic experience for me between my roommate and the treatment of this apartment complex. Do not rent from Carson Street Towers, and do not rent from any complex owned by Willow Bridge Property Company (who recently bought out Lincoln Property Management)."

"Very nice, clean and quiet We've been here for 2 weeks and we Love it! Our apartment was very clean when we moved in and it's very quiet. There were weather related issue's that were beyond anyone's control and the management and maintenance team handled the issues quickly and kept the residents very well informed. The neighbors are also very friendly. I think we will be very happy here."

The apartments are clean with many state of the art updates. "I cannot say enough positive things about the staff and team at Carson Street Towers, and the pride they take in keeping this a clean, safe and beautiful environment to live in. Nick with maintenance has bent over backwards to accommodate my maintenance needs at all hours - even when he’s off work and on holidays! He is a “one of a kind,” truly considerate and caring staff member who constantly ensures the comfort and safety of the residents. I cannot say enough positive things about Nick, and how much I appreciate his willingness to attend promptly to my maintenance concerns and requests. Jenelle, who manages the building, has by far excelled in turning the facility into a beautiful and well maintained place to call home. She is always available to address any issues or complaints as soon as they arise, and makes sure residents are promptly notified of any relevant building issues/updates. The facility has truly been transformed under Jenelle - the new pool, mail room, work space, lounge, rec room and gym have all been beautifully designed and completed under her supervision. Her presence and input into all the property upgrades deserve the highest of accolades! I love living at Carson street towers, in part due to the wonderful staff members like Nick and Jenelle who work so hard to make sure this is a great place to call home. Thanks to the team here for all they do!!"

"We have been here 2 yrs and half when we took the apricots one bedroom we took it for $1300 and we said it’s fine expensive more than the others but it’s new and we not gonna pay utilities , this year they changed the rent for almost $1400 and they added the utilities, btw they don’t have enough people working to maintain the facility and cleaning the garage, elevator and hall ways, btw they machines inside the apartment and the doors, windows are very cheap and not good, i will move after my rent will be end it, also mostly every weekend the elevator is down. Not recommended!"
