"My foster grandson will not be returning to this doctor EVER. He should not be seeing adolescents as patients. Does not treat them respectfully or even with a sliver of a bedside manner. Very catty with my daughter. Not referring him as a doctor to anyone. If you do go, take a visual aid of the 4 food groups. This is a hint to his condescending manner. You have been forewarned! Strictly my opinion!"

"First off, the staff at Dr. Esguerra office has been extremely rude to me on several occasions, in person and over the phone. Second, They don’t even have a registered nurse on staff which is really confusing to me and their hours are ridiculous. On our first visit we sat in the lobby for almost two hours before we were called back. there was no one else waiting in the lobby and there was no one else getting out of appointments. We proceeded to wait in the room another hour before the doctor even came in to check on my daughter. The doctor seemed pretty emotionless with zero empathy, the entire staff for that matter. It was my daughters first appointment with them and we had a bad first impression, resulting in a bad last impression. We recently moved to Joplin from Colorado and I really miss our old pediatrician. Our previous pediatrician and his staff were tentative and timely mannered. They were super sweet to us and genuinely cared about our daughter. Sooo we are now currently taking applications for a new pediatrician. All recommendations are appreciated!!!"
