"I spent 9 weeks here and it was a very good experience. the facility is sooo nice and the staff are amazing. It is very comfortable and all but I'll admit the staff can be a little neglectful. The food isn't always the best though, and there is very little privacy. But overall I had a good experiecne."
"My daughter was dropped off by her father and guaranteed an individualised program. She was told by a staff member that someone would be going through her luggage with her. After that meeting she found out that a staff member went through her luggage and removed Vapes. I was fine with them removing vapes. I was angry that they were dishonest with her. One therapist told her that part of her problem was her relationships and her sexuality. It was totally inappropriate. I spoke with the administrator there and told them that my daughter is musical.. She told me that she had a guitar and she was also musical. I asked her if she could bring the guitar for my daughter She never brought in the guitar. My daughter had migraines and was forced to sit in classrooms with halogen lighting. She was guaranteed that she could call her mother or father whenever she wanted and this was not allowed. My daughter also left her review. It was responded to by saying that they were very interested in her concerns and Word contact her. I never did. When my daughter left, they returned her vape to her.I thought the one good thing she could get out of the visit. Was cutting vaping. This place is unprofessional and neglectful."
"staff watched me pee, made me sit in a fluorescently lit room while I had a migraine, forgot to FEED ME for 8 hours when I first arrived (deadass) and generally made my time there super upsetting. would not recommend. (I hate u reina) Devastating tbh. Edit- seems that you guys donβt take it super seriously. I sent an email 4 days ago and never got a response!"
"Fantastic staff and very nice facility. Highly recommend this facility for young teen with anorexia. Our teen made incredible strides while admitted here. Over 9 weeks we had nothing but professional and compassionate care from everyone. Cannot thank them enough for the high level of care they provide."
"My daughter went to Clementine St. Louis and she is doing well now. Clementine St. Louis only accepts a handful of young adults at a time. This is a very good thing. They also only help clients with eating disorders, which is another good thing. The place itself is a grand home, in a nice area with beautiful views of the nature preserve and the Mississippi River. A setting like this is much better than any that seems like a hospital or institution. The home has a pool table, a ping pong table, an art room, and a mini movie theater room. They are kept busy but also have their down time. They also have outings to a store like Target or Five Below or a place to eat for real-life experience. My daughter got along with most of the staff but she had a very good rapport with their therapist. I observed this in-person during the video family therapy sessions and I am so thankful because it is a crucial relationship on the road to recovery. The family visitations are on Fridays which was hard to manage being a work day and living so far away but we did manage and the trips were worth it. On this journey of recovering from her eating disorder my daughter had been to 2 other residential locations. The first place was good but she was discharged early due to pushback from the insurance company. After the first residential, we tried one PHP and another PHP and then Family Based Therapy. Eventually, she was losing weight again and the doctor admitted her. After her hospital stay, she was at the second residential location for only 3 days because it was not the right place for her. It had a large client to staff ratio and handled clients with a wide variety of challenges and it literally was not a safe place, plus she had several personal items stolen that the staff never recovered. Clementine St. Louis was the next treatment place. Here, after some time, the insurance gave pushback as well but the Clementine staff managed to get more care approved, which my daughter needed so I am grateful to them for this. Lastly, I will say that my daughter's recovery is a continuing process, we are on a good path, and in large part it is thanks to Clementine St. Louis."
