"Went for an MRI of my back. Staff were all fantastic. The waiting area was comfortable and the entire process was explained in detail. MRI machines are much wider than they used to be, and theirs is closer to a "donut" shape, like a CT, than the old "Pringles can" shape. (All credit to my Uber driver for those perfect descriptions.) In other words, you don't feel trapped. They play music, they let you know when you can wiggle and how long you have left in the machine, and even tell you when results will come back. I just couldn't be more pleased. Oh! They even called me by my chosen name, a true rarity at Mercy."
"I went to this place for a CAT scan and the actual CAT scan takes no more than 2 minutes. It seems that more and more people that makes the CAT scanners knows to make the machines quiet but fast. The only downside to any CAT scan is that you have to go for a 2-hour NPO or nothing to eat or drink and you have to be given a silly chemical. And they send those through an IV."
