"My family and I are were in complete disbelief when we found out Idexx Labs had more than one chance to detect what was wrong with my puppy and misdiagnosed him. I lost my puppy at 11 months old because Idexx Labs could not do their jobs. All the money we spent on tests being sent to this company and all the pain and suffering my puppy had to go through because no one could figure out what was wrong with him. Idexx Labs diagnosed my dog with a chronic fracture when he really had cancer. It’s very scary that these are the people we depend on and are supposed to trust to do their jobs right and they can’t. Idexx Labs failed us and we lost our dog because of it."

"I am a registered vet tech, recently my dog was diagnosed with hepatic encephalopathy and underwent a liver biopsy which he did not recover well at all. We sent out for 3 different tests with the biopsy which we confirmed 4 TIMES with the lab about how to send it. They ended up losing my pet's sample and after they found it 15 days later ( god knows where) they tried to say it wasn't properly preserved. Then they didn't even run the corrects tests that were stated on the requisitions. I still don't have results and now my dog has to be transferred to a specialty hospital for another surgery that hopefully he comes out of okay. This is not the first time they have dropped the ball. Their couriers are terrible and rude, their lab staff never has valid information for you and they will never own up to their own mistakes, meanwhile your client or own pet is waiting on their results to be treated correctly."
