"This place was awful. I was warned by many Drs and friends that Canizares was terrible to her patients. The front desk was rude and difficult. I have never seen a Dr be so uncaring and nonchalant towards their patients, especially ones that think they are dying. This is the fast food of the medical industry and it’s absolutely disgusting."

"I called to set up an appointment as a new patient and they said they would only do so if I would give them a CC number and agree to be charged a $75 fee in advance. The fee would be refunded if I showed up for the appointment. I told them that "sounded sketchy" and refused. I'm 55 y/o and have never heard of that. Personallythis is not a business I'd want to get involved with. Just a heads up. They get one star for that reason alone. I've never been to the location and have had no other interaction with them. They might otherwise be a great place. I really don't know. Just saying. :-)"

"Had to pay $75 to see the Dr. We were perfectly OK with this. My prior history being at a Doctors office I knew we would also have to pay more for the visit AFTER the visit. We walk-in fill out all of the paper work (after giving all of the insurance information over the phone) we had to give them our insurance card to retake the information down just for them to tell us we had to pay an extra $200 for the doctor to even see us. The lady at the window proceeds to tell us well shes the one that scheduled it as she does with all new patient appointments and claimed she told us. She never said we would have to pay prior to seeing the doctor. We understand paying for a visit for the services and any medication but we couldn't even find out if anything was needed before paying a total of $275. Communication is key and this dermatology office definitely lacks this with its patients and potential patients."

"I need a dermatologist & this Lake St Louis office looked fantastic ... tho I was surprised at seeing mostly 5 stars -- unusual no matter how great a business is. Then I got to Local Guide "Kmart" who points out: most reviewers have "hidden reviews" (odd) and even more suspicious, reviews are clumped together in the same time periods. UGH For years I've relied on Google reviews but it's hard to trust them with these suspicious red flags."
