Dr. Kelsey Sewell is led by Dr. Kelsey Sewell, Ph.D., an assistant professor in the departments of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences and Neurology at The University of Kansas Medical Center. Dr. Sewell supervises and trains psychiatry resident physicians, medical students, and psychology trainees, providing assessment, psychotherapy, and coordination of care for patients at The University of Kansas Health System's Comprehensive Epilepsy Center and the Parkinson's Disease and Movement Disorders Center.

Dr. Sewell's professional interests include improving behavioral health, medical adherence, and quality of life, as well as individual and dyadic approaches to coping with serious illness. She is a sought-after lecturer and speaker, holding membership in the Kansas Psychological Association and serving as the membership chair. Dr. Sewell is dedicated to advancing the field of psychology and supporting the University of Kansas Medical Center's Early Psychology Faculty Support Group.
