"I, unfortunately, need surgery. Dr. Lowry was found through a referral. My wife and I had a consultation appointment with him recently. We both think he is fantastic. Dr. Lowry spent time listening to me explain my situation and what I believe what the surgery will entail. He wanted to make sure I knew and understood the situation. He also wanted to know about my other health issues. He patiently listened as I explained my other issues. He also took the time to answer the questions I had about the surgery itself as well as what I should expect post surgery. "If I could give 0 I would. I had a surgery scheduled for July 6. I do not have insurance but they made it like that wasn’t an issue. I paid upfront hospital fees and awaited my surgery date. I was called the evening before my surgery telling me that I needed a large sum of money for them to perform the surgery. I did not have the funds for it so they canceled my surgery leaving me in pain and to suffer. I then asked for a refund of the hospital fees and they said “we don’t do well with refunds” I told them that wasn’t my problem and I wanted my money back. They then told me that they cut checks every two weeks which was fine. That was 4 months ago and I have not heard back from anyone. They did not perform the surgery and still have not issued my refund. I’m on the verge of taking legal action. Providence you must do better. I’m still in pain and now I’m out money that you keep procrastinating on refunding me."

"I went to the ER on 12/31/22 with severe abdominal pain. In a very short period of time Dr. Stephen Lowry diagnosed the issue and scheduled surgery. There were multiple complications including the fact that I was very septic, so it's not an understatement to say that I am alive today thanks to his skills and abilities as a surgeon. He has also been very helpful and informative on my follow up appointments as well as willing to take on management of issues not necessarily under his purview but because he had the knowledge and willingness to see it done. The office staff is also great - friendly and helpful."
