"HIPAA violations, medical chart violations, medical diagnostic violations, patients rights violations. You know it this company does it! With gusto! They actually love ruining people lives and intentionally making them harder. This company failed to send documentation of completion of services (required by law). Then the nurse for Dr Brooks is so grossly incompetent that she can’t figure out how to send a prescription somewhere else. She also doesn’t know that she’s required to return a phone call with 48 hours instead of 6 days. When you do hear back from her you will be met with nothing but stupid word after stupid word that falls out her mouth (Id say it’s how she talks but based of her slurred speech there’s definitely substance abuse issues there.) Next you have Melissa who can’t even send over treatment completion in a timely manner resulting in several mental health crises as I was threatened with being arrested. After that because Melissa is incompetent you get to be on the phone with Andrew in Records (not to mess with the theme: also grossly incompetent.) Who thinks it’s appropriate to hang up on patients in a crisis. The lawsuit I am going to be bringing against this place for 1st, 2nd, 6th, 8th, and 9th Amendment rights violations, loss of enjoyment of life, mental trauma, as well as distress is going to mean I won’t have to work another day in my life. Buckle up because it’s going to be rough. Even more disturbing is Ted making young queer men on Grindr even though he is the one doing classes for those individuals for various substance abuse issues. I have screenshots of that."
"This place is probably one of the best places for mental health and addictions centers . These people go the extra mile to help you succeed in life even with the added problems a person might have or be going through . I appreciate the services provided to us thru various places like probation and parole and cox health and even the police and fire men who might have thought about getting a person some much needed assistance . If anyone deserves a 6 star rating it's this place . Thanks everyone who puts forth a big heart to the Springfield community ."
"I would not recommend this place for anyone, seeking actual treatment and consistency for their mental health. I have been with Burrell for almost 3 years and the entire time they struggle to keep appointments, to call in prescription refills, to call in the correct refills(oh and good luck trying to get in contact with someone when you need your meds).!they have repeatedly every few months left me to go without my prescription for weeks at a time causing me to go back in and out of mental stability repeatedly and forcing me to go into their crisis center just to be able to receive my medication’s that I need. If you want some actual help choose anywhere, but here."
"So I was a patient with Burrell and I saw a psychiatrist to prescribe and refill my medications. Well, on my last visit with my psychiatrist, she failed to tell me that she was leaving Burrell and then when I called to make my next appointment, they told me she didn’t work there anymore and the next available psychiatrist appointment was in a couple of months. I had already been on my last refill and they had just ran out so I couldn’t wait any longer as I was feeling heavy withdrawal symptoms. I told them this and they said word for word, we will refill that medication for you temporarily until your next appointment. Well, they NEVER filled that prescription and I went through horrible withdrawal symptoms(ie: nausea, dizziness, lethargy, and literally vomiting every day) for 4 months straight. I was done with Burrell the moment I realized they didn’t do what they said they would, and then I had to deal with them sending me patient paperwork to fill out for future appointments and I had to call them multiple times to get them to stop bc I was DONE with Burrell. Now I’m with Eustasis and I’m on more helpful medications and I’m super happy:)"
"The administration is kind and helpful if you feel something wasn't right with your treatment or counseling and will work with you to fix an issue. I edited this because of my call with them after the issue I posed. There's good people, and not so good people in all fields. Just make sure you voice any feelings you have about counseling you're getting because those with addiction and mental health issues need to feel equal in respect to the people talking with them in my opinion. I don't think it's therapeutic if the people I talk with make me feel subordinate or beneath them. If you're struggling in life, just don't give up. People do care and you're worth more than you may feel at times."
