"I was a patient of Doctor Harcharan Bains for about a year. I have recently chosen to find another psychiatrist that actually wants to provide services to me. I missed only two appointments due to a very hard time in my life and not having insurance. Once that was resolved I went to an appointment with Bains and after paying him so much money for a year of seeing him he threatened to no longer provide services if I didn't start going to all my appointments. He didn't allow me a chance to explain myself or address the issue I discussed with the nurse prior to seeing the doctor for that days appointment. When I told him I would find another psychiatrist that wanted to help me he seemed unpahsed and ended our session. In the ​after summary notes he made up lies saying that he recommended to me to stop drinking alcohol.... this was never a problem for me, nor was it even mentioned on this day one time. I think he wanted to make me look bad. Very disappointing"
