"This was my first and last time going to this doctors office. Took my 4 year old in to get looked at they said her throat was really red and probably had strep, so the nurse came in with a swab, she had my husband hold her arms and head and then proceeded to SCRUB my daughters throat with the swab. I was absolutely mortified! It sounded like she was getting her teeth brushed, that nurse was so rough. No wonder they needed money up front, I’d have been too livid to pay them for doing that to my child afterwards. Most doctors know it doesn’t take much to get results from a swab test. I’m horrified. I think I’ll still to my hour long drive to see a competent gentle doctor and nurse. DONT TAKE YOUR KIDS HERE.!"

"Always impressed! They are always on time with appointments. Never wait more than a couple of minutes. Their waiting room is beautiful and always clean. They have two sections for well kids and sick kids; so I always feel comfortable going in. The front staff is always friendly and helps with insurance and checkup routine scheduled visits. The nurses are patient and very kind. They also do great with shots. Dr. Cockerell is always thorough and has great advice to get dad involved with baby care. I definitely recommend this office- worth the drive for us!"

"I switched all four of my children to McIntosh. I went there for a second opinion for my oldest daughter who had been having thyroid issues and her old doctor would constantly give me the run around. We fought with them every time my kids needed testing elsewhere and constantly waiting for referrals. On the FIRST VISIT to McIntosh, they had set up the appointments personally the very same day and my daughter was in for her testing the following week. Amazing staff, they are all very attentive and kind and my kids don't get nervous going to see the Doctor anymore! So happy I made the switch!!"
