"During a therapy session at Signature Psychiatric, I experienced discrimination, violence, and retaliation that left me feeling frightened and violated. As a Black woman seeking mental health support, I was subjected to unacceptable treatment that I believe warrants public attention. In the midst of a therapeutic discussion about the police and the Black community, a white male patient became triggered and verbally assaulted me, expressing his frustration and aggression. His intimidating behavior escalated to the point where he physically charged at me outside the facility, threatening violence and causing me significant distress. I was so scared that I involuntarily soiled myself in fear for my safety. Upon my return to therapy, I discovered that the therapist deemed me as aggressive even though I was the victim and refused to allow me to participate in the program. Despite my attempts to seek justice by contacting the police and filing charges, I was further marginalized as law enforcement failed to properly investigate the incident and failed to take my statement into account. . This experience has left me deeply troubled and concerned about the treatment of patients at this facility. It is imperative that psychiatric facilities uphold ethical standards of care and provide a safe and supportive environment for all patients, regardless of race, gender, or background. BLACK PEOPLE THIS IS NOT A SAFE SPACE FOR US."
"I wish I didn't even have to give it a 1 star. Worse place ever!! My daughter was there for 96 hours and they did nothing for us. Not a single person that worked there knew what was going on, maybe because they were contracte people and not actually work there. I'm telling you as a momma reconsider this place. As an adult reconsider finding somewhere else"
"Good and bad, the people walking around treated you like family, the nurses some of them just looked at you like a drug seeker. Overall good experience I just feel bad for the short staffing and everybody running around like a chicken with their head cut off. ANYA OR ANNA is the best person there along with the girl with the long blond hair and thick. Definitely needs more organization and routine other than that pretty good."
"My 19 year old daughter was a patient at the Liberty Hospital location. She was transferred there from another hospital ER. While in the shower there she started having hallucinations. They gave her an injection with medication to help with that. Later she walked out of her room and fell on the floor. Her blood pressure was very low. They said that they had overdosed her with the medication and had to send her down to the ER to be evaluated and treated. She got a copy of her records. There is no documentation about the dose she was given nor about being sent down to the ER. I feel they took advantage of the situation. I had seen this happen to another girl around her age at their other location. One day she was talking and walking fine to them calling EMS to transport her by ambulance to the hospital across the street. I saw her on the stretcher as they were leaving the facility. She did not look right as if she was unconscious. I would not recommend either facility for our young adult children."
"At first they said they where gonna put me on a 96 hour hold, didn't tell me nothing for the 4 days then I was told I got to leave on Thursday. Had to pester some of the day techs to get my clothes inventoried. A few days before I left there was a guy having a seizure. The nurses took their sweet time getting over to the dude. They tried to leave him on his back. It's pretty sad when the patients know more than the nurses. They kick you out even if you're not ready. I don't think they care. The night shift staff I really liked. Other than that, if you're looking for help. Don't come here."
