"We walked in to find a light we saw online and to make a purchase. We specifically drove an hour to come here. We walked in and walked around the place twice. Even passing the front desk...twice and not a single person welcomed us, asked if we needed help, or even acknowledged our presence. They were not busy and we may have been the only ones in the store. I am big on someone saying hello when you enter somewhere. In any store, if you are not acknowledged, I will make it a point not to make a purchase. Even if you have the only product available. Could I have requested service? Yes.
