Reviews
"This review is specifically for the pharmacy. I find them to be excellent at what they do, empathetic, and kind! I have not had a bad experience with them, and they always have what I need. I go there once a month to pick up my meds, and they are always helpful. The only downside is that sometimes the line is a bit slow."
"This pharmacy is the absolute worse in all of Olathe, OP and KC for that matter. The pharmacist (Kyle, Keith, ?), Jordan the pharmacy tech, are both terrible to deal with. They both speak so fast, (trying to get you off the phone or to simply not have you ask questions) that what they’re saying is unintelligible. My mothers prescriptions, as well as mine are never readily available. I was told to pick up 2 scripts (via them calling ME) for my mom in the last 2 days. I was waiting for a 3rd one to be refilled today. I call again to see if the 3rd one is ready and Jordan tells me “yes, but you can’t get the other 2 because my system won’t sell them because they expired on Sept 27 (yet I talked to them yesterday and 3 times today without being told this.) No one ever mentioned this as I was waiting for the 3rd one to be filled. I asked who was responsible for notifying the doctor for refills. Jordan stated “me!” How am I supposed to know that my moms scripts (that are on auto fill) have expired? Passing the mistake on to the customer. I asked if the Dr had been notified a new script was needed, and she said “I just did that!” HELLO!! Shouldn’t that have been requested PRIOR to me being the scripts were ready and I could come get them? This place is a joke of a pharmacy. No ONE knows what is going on there. Also, the same pharmacy that tried for 3 months to continuously fill a script that my 78 year old mother is allergic to!! I have to tell them every time I go in to pick up a script “No, do not fill that one. Take it out of your records. My mom is allergic to it! It will never heed a refill!” Their response, “oh our system will not let us remove it!” WTH.. MOVING ALL prescriptions going forward to Walgreens or another CVS. RUN FROM THIS PHARMACY! Save yourself BIG headaches. They’re terrible!"
"After months of battling Walgreens, I am so happy with the service at this CVS!! They answered the phones quickly, gave me good advice, and were able to fill my prescription without a struggle. I dreaded every month having to do that battle. This will be so much easier. Each interaction with the pharmacy staff has been great. Keep it up!"
"I went into CVS on 151st and Mur-lin to get a few Birthday cards to put some cash for my Nieces, I was in a temporary prosthetic boot and wait over 5 minutes for the customer in front of me to get help from the manager took over 5 min to come to the front and did not stay after she did what was need for cashier to help customer in from of me , I need to break change on a $20 bill and wanted 2 $10 bills or what ever he was able to break down the $20. I was using a card to make purchase, Cashier told me he could not open register with out buying something with cash. Cashier told me while I was waiting that there was a self check out and I advised him of what I was needing prior to Mgr coming up to the front. Cashier did not take any customer service and tell Mgr he needs her help with me as well; if he could not open the draw with out a cash purchase. I left the store with out buying card and went to Walgreens down the street. They had no issued and cashier was able to open their draw with out a purchase at all and assist me. I was very inconvenienced as I was in a full boot brace for my foot. probably the last time o go to a CVS"
"Called ahead asking for flu shots, got there within minutes and they said they’re done giving them for the day! Two days later I called again and they said they had them but this time I made an appointment online and got confirmation for me and my kids at 8pm. When I got there, the main pharmacist said he doesn’t see our appointment online!! He said he can’t do it because he’s understaffed and he has back up of prescriptions to fill and that he’ll be there till 2am!! Seriously!! I went to another place and got my flu shots! I complained to manager on duty and he said he’s frustrated as well.. there have been complaints about this pharmacist. He gave me a number to call and I’ll be doing just that!"
