"Definitely not like it was 2 years ago no pool, no hot tub, breakfast buffet terrible. Since it's no longer welk resort I would never stay there again."

"When we got to our room and was trying to settle in my daughter notice a booger was dried to the head board. I’m sure you just said GROSS!! So did we!! And it made us question just how clean was the room. Went to front desk and showed the picture. And our options were to stay or move. We chose to move. This was an inconvenience. Then the next day my daughter wanted to do the tyedye activity. No one seemed to want to do this but one boy stepped up and said he would. This was his 3rd day on the job for this boy. And he had no clue how to do the activity. He was trying. It probably took 45-hour to find gloves to start activity. He wasn’t able to help guide the girls in making a the shirt. We were still charged 15 for the activity. While we were trying to find gloves another family came in with 3 young children and wanted to do leather stepping but of course the boy had no clue and convinced them to do the tyedye. Let me say this boy was very respectful and felt bad. This wasn’t his fault. He obviously wasn’t trained to do any of the activities. Overall our experience wasn’t great."

"We got a one bedroom condo next to the pond and it was PERFECT. Huge covered deck. Bathtub in the room with fireplace was very nice touch. There are actually two fireplaces and a HUGE shower with three shower heads. Its February so the outdoor pool stuff is all closed as expected but I wouldnt call the inside pool a "waterpark" it is very nice big pool with a super fun slide tho. Pool walls are very rough tho and we have cuts to prove it. I'm assuming the terrible reviews im seeing are people who stayed in the hotel and not the condos. Overall we Loved this place and will definitely be back when the weather is nice!"

"I just wanted to get away from lake of the ozarks for a night with my son who is 2. I guess I should have read the reviews before booking this hotel. I was able to get up to my first room and it wasn’t even house kept. The beds weren’t made. There was crumbs on the night stand blankets on the floor ect. Not to mention there was LOTS of trash in the hallways upon exiting the elevator. I had to lug my son back down the main lobby with all of our luggage. We finally got another room which was cleaner. Around 10pm until 11:30pm I had to listen to the people above my room stomp through their room unsettled for quite some time. My son already tossed and turned for that hour and any noise he heard he would start tossing again. How inconsiderate of them. You are in a hotel with people below you. Be more considerate of others. I will NOT be back! This stay was HORRIBLE! It was not worth my $88 and my 3hr drive!"

"Who plans a distention resort without a microwave in the rooms? Also did not like being pressured into a time-share presentation before I could get parking pass. Indoor pool lot fun and staff did great job w sanitizing sitting areas."
