"Cozy and chill environment with amazingly well-crafted drinks. Staff is always so welcoming, friendly, and happy to answer all my stupid questions while sitting at the bar. My sis and I played a game of Yahtzee while we each enjoyed three drinks, including one delicious N/A cocktail for me, so I could drive us home safe at the end of our night. They graciously allowed us to move seats when our friend joined us for our last round, and even let us all try a taste of their special double barrel agave spirit (which was sooo tasty). Love this place!"

"I make a point of visiting Mean Mule every time I visit KC (2-3x/yr)They have a wonderful staff that serves up fantastic drinks, you can almost taste the attention to detail & the amount of care put into each drink. I was shocked to see some 1 star reviews, but after reading through them it is clear that the reviewers are frustrated with the rules they were hoping to be exceptions to, not the quality of service/ drinks. The small group size helps make the ambiance of Mean Mule what it is, a cozy place to enjoy great drinks with a small group. Allowing large groups would detract from that intimate vibe. If you are planning a night with a larger group (6+) there are many other spots in KC that can accommodate you - King G’s is right around the corner!"

"Gosh where to begin!? Fantastic drinks and just down right creative. The atmosphere is something i look for in a craft cocktail bar! Super cozy and the decor is so cute. Staff is seriously the coolest and are full of knowledge and KC recommendations. With the high level of cocktails and volume this staff keeps up. I love how small it is and it’s not crowded with large groups!! 10/10 highly recommend."

"My gf and I sporadically decided to meet up to get a quick drink this afternoon when we finished work. Decided to try Mean Mule. It is a nice little place on Locust Street. We got the tequila flight and KC Ranch Water. I enjoyed both quite a bit. The vibe was bright and on point. The clientele was eclectic. Everyone was very cordial. They are very dog friendly, as proven by the four or so dogs that came through in our hour there as well as the fact that they gave us a water bowl for our dog."
