"Been here twice before. Owner is some weird unfriendly dude. Went a third time today, to give em another chance. However, then I noticed the sign at checkout. "Basic overpriced liquor store.... Hennessey was $50, Half Maker's Mark was $20. Walmart down the street doesn't sell hard liquor so go elsewhere with a bigger selection and probably cheaper prices.....the Employee was nice."
"Always enjoy stopping by Rippetoe. May be a little bit more expensive than some other liquor stores in Johnson County but Rippetoe has a great selection of anything you might need. The people are friendly and i feel safe there. There's a friendly bar in same strip mall in case you go out, and want to take something home. Perfect location, nice people, awesome selection of everything, and I intentionally go out of my way to patron their store. Thank you.for the many years of service to older couple that run the store (owners?)."
