"First to start with staff, they were nice and friendly for the few minutes we interacted with them. Told us what we needed to know about getting to our room and any other basic needs. Second the hotel itself, first we had thought we had booked the nicer Days inn down the road but we had mistaken and booked this one, this one is nice looking on the outside and has vending machines around the property. Third, the rooms, our room looks like it has been remodeled recently, new floors, new paint, the usual 2-3 step revamp to make any room look new again. Once we got settled is when we started noticing the problems. The extra lock closer to the top of the door is completely broken off so we couldn’t lock it like we usually do when we go on trips. The DirectTV box had no HDMI cable running to the tv so we couldn’t even watch the “big” tv that was in the room. One of the bedside lamps was missing a light bulb so my fiancé couldn’t use her light. There are no hangers in the rooms at all to hang clothes if you do decide to do that. There is no hair dryer either. The AC unit is an older model but does work. Our window is completely fogged over with something so we couldn’t even see outside. They give you a sheet and a very very light comforter for the bed so make sure you keep the heat up in the winter. Floor doesn’t seem like it has been swept in a while as there are piles of dirt in almost every corner and around the bed. Bathroom was okay nothing fancy just your normal bathroom, only complaint is that the shower head is low. Would I recommend staying here? Only if you plan to stay a night or two. Definitely plan to stay somewhere else next time we visit Branson."
"The place was cheap but you could hear hammering late like they were still working on the place. Every time you would role in the bed tin would pop. The water was scolding and shower head to low. Not to mention they charged my daughter an extra $100 because they said the sheets got dirty and the toilet was nasty, which it wasn’t! So my question is do they not wash the sheets between customers? And even if it was dirty that is why they have housekeepers! Will never stay here again and I will let everyone I know so they won’t stay!"
"I wish I would have read reviews first. Management is nice, but rooms have a LOT to be desired. They are tiny. No soap bars, place to hang a towel, no hair dryers, no carpet, cheap beds that make noise when you get up and down. Side table light not working. No place to hang clothes. No place to put luggage. Too tiny. Pet friendly, but no grass area. The only thing going for this place is a larger tv than most. I should have splurged for my short stay in Branson, because the city has so much to offer. No refunds either once you saw the room was inadequate."
"If you are looking for a clean, no frills room at a bargain price, this is the place for you. Newly renovated, our room was clean with fresh paint, new furniture and a comfortable bed, but bring your own pillows because the ones offered were lacking. The staff was friendly and helpful. The AC worked fine. TV network had limited channels. We had a small refrigerator and a microwave. HOWEVER, do not let the photos fool you. This place does NOT have a pool. It is down the street from the one pictured. The breakfast was a bagged take out. There was no closet in the room and no hangers, although there was an attractive place to hang clothing or a hang up bag. The tub had no stopper, so a shower was the only option, which was a disappointment since I was looking forward to a nice soak. I am average height and barely fit under the low shower head. Also, there was no hair dryer. We felt safe there, but could clearly hear the folks above us moving about. Probably will go elsewhere next time."
