Red Roof Inn Springfield, MO

"I had to come to town for business and my company owned hotel was booked up. We needed a pet friendly option so we chose Red Roof. Beware this part of Springfield is just bad in general. There are homeless drug addicts scurrying around everywhere. You will see them panhandling all day and then they go stay at a local motel such as the Red Roof that allows local ID’s. NEVER stay somewhere that allows local ID’s for this reason! Upon arrival the grounds were well kept and the check in staff was hospitable. We were assigned a room at the end of the hallway right by the exit door everyone goes in and out of. Maybe they thought it was convenient to put us there because we had a pet but anyone with a dog knows that the dog is going to alert everytime a door opens. And at this particular place there were people coming and going until 3am. On a Tuesday night! So I got 0 sleep and had to be up at 5:45am the next morning for a work meeting. The bathtub had some kind of silicone remnants where something used to be mounted that had some mold growing. The inside rim of the toilet hadn’t seen a scrub brush in god knows how long according to amount of mold growing around it. And when housekeeping did come… My husband had went outside to take the dog out not knowing they were coming to clean. When he came back in a white woman with all the signs and symptoms of a meth addict was coming out of our room. A $150 vape was missing from the bathroom counter that had been there charging but hey we had clean towels right? If you actually want to get a decent nights rest do yourself a favor and book a room at the Oasis up the street. They have a gated entrance with a guard posted, no locals and no riff raff."

"Don't like the fact they jack the prices up for the weekend. Its A $50 room nothing more. Was in A nice location and the staff was decent. Room was clean so that's a plus."

"Room was super small and my microwave didn't work. I read the reviews prior to staying here about the "old lady at the front desk" but she was a dear and treated me very respectfully! I like the lady at the desk better than I liked the room!"

"If you are looking for a great price, friendly staff, hassle free experience, an actual clean room and establishment, this definitely is your place! The staff are always friendly when I come here, I get the same great service & experience every time I stay. Cleanliness included! My dog is allowed here for no extra fee too. I highly recommend."

"I was on a business trip and had a bit of a problem checking into the hotel. Luckily the employees were awesome and were very helpful! My 2 week stay was amazing for the room was clean every time I had come back from work. The desk clerks were always so nice whenever I walked by. Although there were people hanging around the business, never once was I harassed or bothered. I enjoyed my stay at the RED ROOF INN very much. Thank you very much for making my stay very enjoyable!!"
