"Small park with a good view of the city. The site was used as an encampment for Lewis and Clark, and is where they first describe seeing a wild Bison on their journey west. Minimal trails, and not much to do otherwise. Closed EXACTLY at 10, with a sheriff closing the gate immediately."
"Excellent park with walking trails, an educational exhibit on the history of the Lewis and Clark Expedition, boat ramp (and ample parking), and an art installation of the intrepid duo. To get to the riverbank at the confluence of two great rivers, take a narrow trail through the wildflowers down to the rocky beach. Waters are deep with swift currents, but I was able to dip my toes into the two rivers at the same moment."
"I am giving it 5 stars for what it can be. We can all do our part to clean up the river. As far as access and an exceptional starting point for the MR 340 it's perfect. Plenty of room for a few hundred boats to stage and vendors to support the volume of on lookers and participants. Lots of parking as well."
"Great place to go for a Morning walk and take it a mix of city and nature feel. It has a River front Bike trail and a boat ramp that looks like a lot of fisherman use. The entrance was a little confusing. go until you see the sign as right outside the park is a large Factory building."
