"Do not book a party here. The idea of this place is awesome, which is why we booked, but the execution failed and for a price tag of $400, execution matters. We had lots of problems with setting kids up to play, which meant kids were waiting up to 30 mins to play a game! Many controllers wouldn’t connect, some controllers had dead batteries, there weren’t enough multiplayer games for 28 kids, despite this space being advertised as up to 30 players. Also as another reviewer just mentioned, the “no food in the game room” rule was mentioned upon arrival of each guest but we received zero instructions on which gaming systems and games were available, how to turn on controllers, how to add players, etc. Also there wasn’t a good selection of multiplayer games - for example they had Mario Kart but none of the other Mario games. Our 8 year old birthday party was this past Sunday and despite emailing Party Loft directly on Sunday, then giving them feedback on their own survey on Monday, I still haven’t received any feedback from KC Party Loft so I’m writing publicly to warn others to save their money. I received better customer service from a coffee mug company over the weekend and that was a $20 investment."

"We had scheduled a party for my 10-year-old who loves gaming. However, for the price we paid, our expectations were not met. The location was very difficult to find as there was no large sign to indicate the direction. Moreover, the space was too small, and it would be uncomfortable for 32 people to be there. Although the advertisement stated that there would be a host to assist us, the young lady present just gave us the rules and did not assist us with anything. Now, coming to the gaming experience, I had to approach her at least three times about dead or malfunctioning controllers. The kids wanted to play Minecraft together, but most of the systems needed to be updated. The hostess told us that the updates would take over an hour, and she was unaware of the need to do so. This was unacceptable as the advertisement stated that all games would be available and current. Moreover, a test run of equipment and gaming systems should have been conducted before our arrival. At 4:56 pm, the hostess ended our game session, and while it was only 4 minutes, it was time we had paid for, and we were already late due to the difficulty in locating the facility. The young lady was nice but not very knowledgeable or helpful. I would not recommend this place to anyone and will not be visiting again."

"We had a great time at a birthday party held here. Every gaming system with a ton of games, great space for kids (and adults too!). Lots of fun and would definitely recommend."

"Attended a graduation party here and was quite surprised. The kids attending was definitely have a great time. I certainly recommend this place. You can bring in your own decorations and food, which means you have more control while still providing your guests with entertainment."
