Quality Inn & Suites Kansas City Downtown

"I have mixed feelings about this hotel. It was clean and I really liked the 1940s downtown apartment vibe of the rooms. The staff however wasnt the greatest. Having had a bad experience elsewhere we had gone by to see the property before booking and the desk clerk showed us a room and assured us that would be the one we got if we were to book...it wasnt. They also are very strict about noise and wont rent to locals which is all well and good but the way they presented those rules wasnt very nice at all. Then there was the breakfast..1st of all you arent allowed to take any food from the dining area. I dont particularly like to eat breakfast with a bunch of strangers and besides its over at 9...why couldnt we just grab a muffin and a milk and take it back to our room if we wanted? Also, although breakfast on Sunday was great...biscuits and gravy eggs sausage etc...by tuesday they were watering down the waffle batter so much they wouldnt cook the juice machine was out of juice and you were lucky if you could get a muffin at all. Disappointing....your Tuesday guests are just as important as your weekend ones. At thst point we moved on to the Hotel Lotus in Merriam which was great and we highly recommend."

"Close to most things downtown, rooms are large and comfortable. Older hotel with vintage charm mixed with modern amenities. Beds are comfortable, room was updated and shower had great pressure. Full kitchen, 2 rooms, 2 TV's, and great free breakfast. Would definitely stay here again."

"This was a weird one. I have stayed at this hotel before and it was fine. The location is great and it is probably the best value for money in the downtown KC area, given that each room is like 2 beds in 2 separate rooms, great for families. However, my most recent stay was not good. The room I got had a cockroach near the coffee maker (how is that even possible??) and one of the beds had visibly dirty sheets. Was switched to a different room and the new room was just okay, still not the cleanest. Place has potential but they need to keep up with maintenance and cleaning. Tried to contact customer support, and noone responded to my complaint. Not satisfied honestly."

"Pleasant Surprise! The hotel has been well maintained after their update. Immaculate lobby and breakfast area. This extended to our room as it was also well kept and clean. Front desk staff at check in/checkout was friendly and made checking in smooth. Recommend this great value hotel in a nice central location in KC."

"A very awesome hotel in Kansas City. Room had a nice walk in shower, heated bathroom, plenty of sports channels, a comfy bed, and 16 foot tall ceilings. Front desk was super nice and hotel was immaculate! Breakfast is free and they have a snack/drink bar and plenty of food places around in case you get hungry or thirsty! 5 stars! Will be coming back soon!"
