"It was my first visit to this arcade and I definitely enjoyed myself! Gary was fantastic and made sure we were having a great time while playing. I beat a couple highscores for the first time in awhile and it felt great! Spent a solid four hours there and it was a great experience and I enjoyed the nostalgia of my childhood of going to the arcade after school and on the weekends once more! Definitely worth spending the $10 for all day play! Definitely will be bringing my mom here someday soon! She'd definitely kick my butt in Space Invaders! Go and give them a look and you'll love it just as much as I do! Make sure to get yourself a punch card too while you're there! Thank you for bringing my childhood back! It's so much fun!"
"Took my son there we had a blast I'm glad he gets to experience the old school games... he really enjoyed playing pinball we will definitely be back for sure"
"Pay at the door and games are free is the best business model. All retro games from 80-90s. Pinball, Pacman, Mortal Kombat, dig dug, tons of others. This is a great place to hang out with friends. We spent 2 hours there and the time went by so fast we didn't realize it. They do private parties and the owner is knowledgeable as well as friendly. Check out this retro style, flat fee arcade! Book it for a party, or play all day for one price. It is great fun, we will be back!"
"Myself and 13yr old had a fantastic time at this great new spot! $10/adult $8/kids is an awesome deal for free play retro arcade games!! It was a cheap time for an afternoon of fun! They have Mortal Kombat 1-4!! Staff was super helpful! We will be back soon!!"
"GREAT EXPERIENCE, and looking forward to what improvements they might make after their own opening day experience. Went to their grand opening tonight. Immediately just a cool, kinda chill vibe. $10 entry fee with freeplay on all machines (including the pinball). All retro games, ranging from an early Space Invaders to Mortal Kombat IV. Everything in (what I could tell was) great working order. The decor was a very nice touch, lots of interesting things to look at on the walls, all with a retro video game aesthetic (some vintage, some new). An especially cool thing, I thought, was a TV up on the wall (on mute) constantly playing retro commercials and video game footage. PROS: everything I just said, also no lines to get on a desired machine. Didn't feel like I got "ripped off" for $10 entry fee and freeplay. CONS: it was kind of dark and hard to see the controls on the machines; I had to use the flashlight on my phone a few times to know what button it wanted me to push. Not a huge selection of games, but it was literally grand opening day (one could see where there would be much room for more machines). No liquor served. The owners are obviously passionate about this kind of thing, and warm and welcoming (they literally greeted me when I walked in). Just a great night, and I look forward to going back in a couple months (I don't live in Independence) and seeing what more they've done to the place."
