"Very nice owners! Struck up a conversation immediately; they put a lot of work into the place and it was easy to tell they care about their guests. They recommended El Canelo (Mexican restaurant) for dinner which was a good place! The room was very clean and well-decorated. Plenty of parking for trucks. Would stay here again!"

"We took a trip last year to Missouri and stayed in the Hiawatha Kansas at the Fairbridge Inn Express Hiawatha Kansas. The inn was very nice and clean. They had various snacks in the morning and bottles of water. I would recommend them to anyone. The owners were very friendly and courteous. I felt like they really cared about everyone that stayed with them"

"Mary (the new owner) is one of the sweetest people you'll ever meet. They are working hard to restore the hotel to its original glory and status in Hiawatha as the place to be. They've made amazing strides so far but still have many more great improvements in the works. Staying here, we felt we had met long lost family we didn't know we had. We had a single king-size bed in our room. Our room had a microwave and a big fridge. The bed was amazingly comfortable, as were the pillows. The room was the cleanest room we've ever stayed in. We couldn't find any dirt or dust in this hotel. Even the fake tree in the hallway was clean and without dust on it. I was impressed. Highly recommend staying here if you want to support a small mom & pop business trying to give you a clean, budget friendly place to rest your head."
