"I debated making a detailed review but truthfully I am sick of companies treating homeowners and sub contractors like this. When no one comes forward they are able to continue this. This company in their words are "unabashedly Christian company, putting Christ at the center of every project and decision made. It is their dedication to Christ, and therefore their dedication to people, that has made this company what it is today…a company with integrity, honor and character". What we experienced is complete disregard for homeowners and the sub contractors. SO the "dedication to people" we never experienced that and we didn't see it at work for the homeowners that hired them. Here is my detailed review and I have proof. We were recommended to Show Me Log Homes to do a roof. Robert called my husband and asked him to buy materials and to do the roof. Fine we did the roof. It was completed early January and we sent invoice Jan 18th by their requested method of email. We didn't receive payment or get an email back saying they received it within the 1 & 1/2 weeks. My husband called the office number no answering machine. Strange. He called the other number which is Tabitha's cell phone. He left 2 messages. After no answer, no call back and no email I emailed again Jan 27th I asked if they had received my first email mentioning we tried calling. She hadn't received any calls or messages. What number did we call because none came through on her cell phone. She had been sick and a death in the family and out of town. Fine. I told her how I was sorry she had been ill and about her family member and exactly what numbers we called. I asked any idea on payment. No answer back. Over the next couple of weeks my husband would send a random text here and there asking if they had an idea when they could pay. She answered him and told him she was just getting caught up. Fine. He text her again and after a few times no answer. I sent another email Feb 20th. I told her while I sympathized with her sickness and her death in the family that I felt there was either a miscommunication or that they were not being honest with us. I told her that I would have to place a lien when the time come. I didn't want to do so being that really that only hurts the homeowner. I requested she be honest with me. She answered right back saying that she had made a billing error and it was affecting things still. They were trying to get jobs done to pay us. This kind of talk finishing the next job to pay the past job always makes me think that something may not be on the up and up unless the homeowner has not paid. She insisted she wanted to meet with us that Thursday. At this point we were not going to touch another job they had for us, they had all our info and we were not interested in continuing a work relationship with them. We seen no point in meeting with them and seen no benefit in it. We just wanted to get paid and cut ties. I also had a surgery scheduled that Thursday with a long recovery anyway. Told her that. No answer and no more emails. My husband text Tabitha that we were probably going to go to the homeowner to explain the situation. She of course told him the check would be in the mail the next week it never came. So 5th of March we went to the homeowners with copies of all the emails. Our material $ was due for this roof supplies. We had already paid our guys to complete the roof. My husband took the emails and when he told the homeowners what his next step would be they were very upset. They already were not happy with the company because things weren't done and that they had paid for the house. They got mad and called her. She had someone say she was busy. They left message saying roofer was saying he hadn't been paid. 30 seconds later she called my husband saying they were sending a check from the same phone she couldn't talk to the homeowners on. She didn't call them, just us right in front of them. We didn't receive payment until 3/15. WWJD? Not this. Christian? Integrity? Don't say you are Christian show it. Leviticus 19:11 Proverbs 29:24"
