"Was goofing around when I picked up the meat and the cuts are way too big says one or 2 pounds when you order they give you one great big 2 pounds don’t ask what you want just cut it the way they want it very unhappy they used to be good when they were in St. Charles I got one of your bundles and it was already wrapped up. They did not even ask when I ordered it. He says like two sirloin strips weighing 2 pounds, so they just gave me one way 2 pounds."

"I am a chef with 35 years experience in St Louis. I know my meats and cuts but played a happy go lucky customer with little knowledge of steaks. I told the counter person I wanted 4 steaks a man and woman cut ribeye and the same strip steaks. He rambled through his pitch and then gave me 4 beautiful steaks- so it appeared! The ribeyes were nice and tender however the strip steaks had veins throughout and was very tough to eat. I feel like the employee gave me a lesser product because he thought I was nobody special when I trusted his opinion. Those steaks should have went to scrap meats instead of charging me $80. Next time I will eat out and pay more so my family can enjoy a nice steak dinner or go to another market"

"I am very particular about cooking and smoking meat, and I have been looking for years for a quality butcher in the St Louis region. Charlie and the guys at C Rallo are unbelievable! If I call in advance, they can get me whatever I need basically, and you can tell the tremendous difference in the quality of their meat vs other shops in the region. I drive 25 minutes each way anytime I am going to smoke or bbq. At this point, my wife doesn’t want me to grill a steak unless it’s from C Rallo"
