"The delivery went smoothly. Eric and his guys were SUPER nice, friendly, and personable. Only one tiny thing that cost me $180 at Northwest Electric that afternoon. When the guys originally hooked up the dryer it kept blowing the circuit. They couldn’t figure out why this was happening and suggested I call an electrician. Northwest was kind enough to come out almost immediately. After doing some checking, etc., he removed and reconnected the power cord IN the dryer (which the delivery guys had installed) and discovered some little white wire was touching something causing it to short out and blow the breaker. Again, a $180 service call that really shouldn’t have had to be made. That being said, I emailed Slyman Bros., Colin Luna, to be exact, with that information and giving him the opportunity to AT LEAST step up and offer to split the cost of that electrician's service call... but no; absolutely no response whatsoever. NEVER again will I patronize Slyman Brothers... at least THAT location."

"I came to Slyman Bros Appliances because I needed a stove. Jake greeted me at the door, and begin to ask what I was looking for; I gave him a rundown of the features and the problem. (You see, I had ordered a stove at a home improvement retailer and had already waited four weeks for the delivery; then it was set back another two weeks. Even Whirlpool (the manufacturer) could not guarantee they would meet the next delivery date.) Jake directed me to the two stoves on the floor that came in white and excused himself to go check on availability and delivery dates. Knowing I wanted to take delivery soon, he returned with the availability AND the delivery date. SOLD! Best experience ever buying an appliance. Thank you for Jake's attention to detail, customer service and his knowledge of the products. I was offered a beverage, and in all I was in and out in good time. Yes, I will recommend your store and return to purchase appliances in the future. Thank you again for making this a pleasant experience. Awesome job Jake!!"

"My experience with Slyman has been horrible. Purchased a fridge/freezer from them. The space I have for this is very specific. To ensure it fit, I had them come measure. Day of install, it doesn't fit. It was left crooked and without the trim that I purchased. A few days after, significant amounts of frost began to build up in the freezer (because the gasket wasn't properly secured). A week after that, the fridge gets a wall of ice in the back and the water line freezes. An Electrolux service man came out and installed a heating unit which should have been installed originally. Also resealed the freezer gasket and gave me a list of mistakes made during install that will cause damage in future to units. It has been over 2 months. Had this been measured and installed correctly, none of these issues would be present."

The sales person was very knowledgeable and went over everything with me explaining the different types of dishwashers and helped me find exactly what I needed. No high pressure sales. The delivery and set up was also the best I’ve experienced they really knew what they were doing and set it up quickly. I will definitely be back for my next appliance purchase."
