"Came in here after losing my inhaler st St.Lukes, the pharmacy got my prescription transfered over quickly and saved me from a trip to the hospital for an asthma attack. Great people!"

"Disappointed in the pharmacy customer service. I had an appointment for a flu shot at 12:15. They said they would bring out the paperwork shortly. At 12:38 I went back to the counter to ask about how much longer it would be because I needed to go back to work and mentioned I didn't realize it would take so long to get this done. They handed me my paperwork and the woman was very nice and said she would check with the pharmacist. I could hear the pharmacist in the back sarcastically mocking me about mentioning my appointment time and that they were running behind. I've seen reviews about a rude pharmacist here before. I was hoping a different one would be in today, but not so lucky. I'm giving 2 stars instead of one because I work in Healthcare and I run behind and get frustrated with patients, but I'm never rude to them. Ended up leaving because I felt uncomfortable and he came to the window to tell me that if I couldn't wait 15 minutes after my shot I should leave. He did not say this nicely or apologize. Very unimpressed."

"I waited on told for just over 10 minutes and got hung up on. I called back, waited for 8 minutes, got hung up on. I called a third time. I waited on hold for almost 20 minutes. A pharmacist answered and was extremely rude. I was trying to explain that my Walgreens on Langfords road did not give me a prescription at my last pickup and I didn't realize it until today when I looked through my entire bag of prescriptions to see it wasn't in there. When I called my Walgreens, they said they were out of stock and I would have to call the Walgreens on ward road for a refill today. The women cut me off mid sentence and said "I'm very busy, get to the point." I'm honestly completely disgusted that she would speak to me that way. I finished speaking and she said we're busy so it was be a few hours, and then hung up. Horrible customer service. This woman should not be answering the phone."

"I have a prescription for a three month supply every three months, for a year. Other pharmacies, including CVS, have never had an issue filling this. I don’t understand why this Walgreens location doesn’t have what they’re customers need in stock…ever! If someone has a prescription for a year and it’s to fill three months at a time, I should not be told every three months you don’t have it in stock or you can only do a partial fill. Also, the pharmacist seems annoyed when you ask him a question. And he could care less that a partial refill is inconvenient for you. I’m only using Walgreens because it’s the preferred pharmacy through my employer. Trying to give them a chance, but I’m disappointed so far."

"Update: I spoke too soon. Now this month of all my prescriptions sit in the "filling prescription" stage forever. I know that least one of them is out of stock and they won't even advance it to the "out of stock, ordering more" stage. Told me last month that they would mail me my prescriptions going forward and of course all of my meds are overdue for refill and nothing was mailed nor will it ever be mailed and I had to manually request the refills. I didn't even receive text messages from this location telling me the status of my prescriptions like every other location does. Hours shortened and they now close at 7 PM instead of 9 PM making the problem worse. Found another Walgreen's that will have everything ready for pickup within 24 hours and they are open until 10 PM everyday. Receiving text messages automatically from this Walgreens I've never even filled from before keeping me informed as to the status of the refills. This is clearly a corporate management issue if other Walgreens can fill prescriptions with no issues while the ones in Lee's Summit are basically unusable at this point in my experience. Original review: I refilled my meds here for the first time since the workers at the MO 150 location by Greenwood have basically gone on strike. I was able to pick up my meds within 24 hours with no issues here and the pharmacist was patient and helpful. Honestly it was overall a very pleasant experience."
