"I found XM Studios Salon on Instagram and liked the posts that were there and made an appointment. I met Aleisha and she was very sweet and welcoming. It had been a long time since I've went into a salon to have my hair styled so it was a treat for me. I'm sure that my ends were very overdue for a trim and she just made me feel comfortable that she would get my hair back to looking good and healthy. I love her studio as you are made to feel important because you are the only client in her salon. Your appointment is for you and you only. I didn't have to wait on her to finish washing, blow drying or styling someone else's hair. Her attention is solely on you. She offers her clients refreshments which is something that I honestly never had happen before in the few salons that I've been to. Conversation was great and I appreciate the fact that she has a large mirror in front of you so that you can see what's happening while it's happening. Most salons have you turned away from the mirror so that you can't see what they're doing until the end and have received a cut instead of a trim or a style that didn't turn out as you'd expected. She always let me know what she planned on doing before she did it. All in all, I had a great experience with Aleisha and she even sent me an email to inquire about my experience. She wanted to know the good and the bad points about her service which I can appreciate. Her email also included tips on how to maintain my hair whether it was straight or curled.
