"I got my hair done last weekend. The stylist who did my hair asked if I wanted my roots done, I said sure but then showed her pictures (of myself with lighter hair) that I usually get done. She pointed out that my roots were not touched. So I said yes, ok then let’s go with what I usually get done (I don’t do my hair much so wasn’t sure if I did my roots tbh). Then, she ended up doing my roots. I thought we previously discussed we were going to do what the pic showed but I let it slide because I in fact did say at first yes so maybe she didn’t understand. Then, the only thing I asked for was NO YELLOW. She said ok. She asked me to tell her if I burned or felt itchy because she didn’t want her clients to just suffer alone. When my hair got to this point when she did my roots I let her know, but I also stated MULTIPLE times that I was fine and would rather get this all done in one session. It was completely unbearable-I only let her know because she asked me to before the session. When we were all done my hair was completely yellow. It looked like I had a wig on. Also, my hair was completely fried. I’ve gotten my hair done at the fantastic Sam’s off 75th in Shawnee and my hair has never ever felt this way. When I was upset about how my hair looked she blamed it on me. Said I was complaining of it hurting so she had to wash it out. She proceeded to bleach again. I was bout in tears the whole time. I don’t ever get my hair done that often for this exact reason. I left looking absolutely ridiculous with fried hair and $120 down the drain. I will never recommend this location to anyone. Go to Kylie off 75th and Nieman. Or honestly anyone else."

"Haircut was not even, had too much taken off, part of that was my fault but I told her I had cowlicks if hair was too short, now my hairs sticking up everywhere it's going to take weeks for my hair to look decent enough to go out in public. She should've remarked on how my hair was looking in the back when she was cutting it. But she didn't even make it even I had to fix it when I got home and I hate that. I could've cut my hair myself, next time I will."

"I would usually rate this place a 4 star, but after this experience I had today I can't give it more than a 2. My girlfriend usually goes here to get her haircut by an Artist by the name of Michelle. She always does an amazing job with her hair, and shes the only person my girlfriend is comfortable with. Today, Michelle clocked out early but I tried to convince my girlfriend to try another artist and it took a long time before she was able to get the courage to get inside. She only needed her bangs trimmed so she could not have hair in her eyes, not even half an inch. This male artist did her hair, but misshapped her bangs in a way that can't be fixed. Cut them too short, and made the bangs not able to blend with the rest of her hair. She was balling her eyes out the whole car ride home...when usually she smiles. I don't know how such an easy request go completely off the rails. I know hair grows back but to see her that way made me completely angry. The fact that she had anxiety with hair stylist in the first place, this man definitely solidified her fears. I'm sure it was not intentional by any means, and I still believe that it's fixable. But I'm sure after today, she's only ever going to see one person for a haircut."

"UPDATE: after asking for a manager, i was on the phone with the nicest manager possible. she took her time to listen to what happened and did everything to help. i even told her i hate being that customer, but she was so understanding and helpful. rating is definitely raised thanks to her quick and kind call back to us! I wish to god i could give this place and the hairdresser, elizabeth, negative stars. my partner went in for a simple fade cut and a bleach with color. not only did she NOT give him an even fade, but she bleached his hair for longer than needed, which he even stated to her but she dismissed him to do another customer's hair, but the coloring process was unfinished AND LEFT CHEMICAL BURNS. he came in asking for an ash blonde and he left with orange hair. the pictures are after using a toner, and that was only halfway to ash blonde. so you can imagine the orange, bleached unfinished hair he left with. more importantly, she left the bleach on for too long and gave him chemical burns!! she was completely unprofessional and clearly lacks the knowledge on how to safely bleach hair. after re-dying his hair, you can see all the chemical burns on his head. never, EVER let elizabeth here do your hair at this place."
