"Horrible experience since the new owners have taken over. I walked in for a pedicure and was told that it would be an hour wait. I waited and waited and waited; while watching white customers without an appointment being serviced before me. I confronted the man and he got arrogant with me. I have been doing business with this business since 2000 and I have never felt discriminated against until today. Never going back and I suggest if you believe in equality you take your business elsewhere!!!"
"DO NOT come here. I called ahead online to ask pricing for just a take off of old polish and the lady told me $10. I came in and told her i had an appointment and i was the one who called on the phone. She asked me if they were gel (also did on the phone) and i confirmed that they were gel and before i sat down i asked her again if it would only be $10 and she said yes. It took almost an hour for them to take off the polish and my nails were soaked in pure alcohol for almost 40 minutes. She repeatedly drilled for a little bit then put my hands back in the pure alcohol. She even tried to use a fake acrylic nail to pry the gel off but couldn’t separate my nail from the gel polish and ended up ripping up from underneath my natural nail and when i said it hurt she kept going. after about 50 minutes of repeating this process she told me to go wash my hands. I was shocked because there were still several patches of gel remaining on my fingers and she didn’t even buff them at the end so flakes of polish remained on every finger. She definitely was not rushed and i was the only one in the salon until half way through my appointment when one other girl came in and she was helped by a different nail tech. I got up to the counter and she pointed at a sign on the wall and said “nail take off $13 ok?” i told her no, this was not okay. this was a 30% price increase and despite it being on the wall, i called before hand and after I entered the building to confirm it was only $10. She told me that a normal nail take off is $10 but gel take off is $13. It did not say this on the wall, all it said was “nail take off $13” and did not specify the type. I also confirmed with her before beginning and on the phone before arrival that my nails were in fact gel. I will never be coming here again. For how long they took to do a horrible job and then trying to over charge me for it, this place is not worth anyone’s money. You really do get what you pay for. There’s a reason this establishment is always empty."
"I went there for the first time today and left after an hour and a half. Only had clear polish applied to my nails. If they had said they were too busy I would have happily driven to my old neighborhood. I get my nails done every two weeks and was looking for a place near my new home to become a regular at. They still charged me for a full price pedicure after I literally waited so long the water turned cold and I had to leave."
"Pedicure was okay but the gel polish application was terrible. Not sure if their polish is old or if they don’t know how to apply it properly but it looks like a 7 year-old applied my polish along with it looking cracked. I will never go there again. This was the only place near me that was open on Memorial Day. They were very short-staffed and kept taking more customers when they can barely do a good job on the existing customers. The nail tech tried to tell me the polish color is not the best with application. I felt their gel nail colors are old and need new ones with more skilled staff. Thankful that at least I tried this place out so I know never to go here again."
"First we waited an hour. Then they completely rushed through. My friend wanted pointy nails but the girl glued her own finger to the set nail, so they had to cut it off and when she was shaping my friends nail the tech said it was too short to do pointy. I wanted mine a little bit more pointy and when I told the tech he just pretended to do it and it was exactly the same. They also charge me $2 more than my friends and I had the same exact thing done. It's not about the money it's about the principle of the matter. The only one who had a good experience was my other friend and his Nail Tech was amazing. But I still would never recommend this place they did not care whatsoever about how it came out they rushed 100% of the time my nails do not look good they look uneven on both sides. the only thing I like about my nails is the color. They also made them way too thick."
