XO NAILS BAR

"Wanted to like this place. but the lead up and pedicure left little to be desired and I am quite unhappy. I was with a group that had a 5PM appointment- I sat in a chair unattended until 6:15pm when someone remembered I was there. My nails were done, look great, awesome. Onto the pedicure. At this point it’s getting late and everyone from my group had left. I was one of the last people in the salon and eventually *was* the last person and because they took so long it was closing time and they were rushing me out the door. I paid for the signature pedicure as I wanted to treat myself. Half hearted foot massage, barely any work done on my feet and rushed through the whole thing. They hastily rushed me to the dryer and after 5 minutes told me my toes were dry and that the shop was closing. I touched them and told them they were wet and they said that they disagreed and were dry. I tipped 20% on an $100 mani/pedi combo and left. The minute I got to the parking lot, I looked down and saw the toes were all smudged and ruined. I turned around immediately and within one minute of leaving, there were chains on the door. I knocked and told them about it and they told me to come in and did the same 5 minute routine and clearly wanted me out. I told them they were still wet and that it was an expensive pedicure and that it was for a wedding. They told me sorry and that I could come back the next day. I live 40 minutes from the salon and told them I wouldn’t be able to and they said “come back again sometime and we’ll fix them.” Super unhappy, waste of money for an expensive pedicure and have never felt so rushed. The man who told me to come back was kind but everyone else clearly couldn’t wait to get the place closed when they were the ones keeping me there until 8PM! I’d rather have been home, too, but was paying for a pedicure that lasted 2 minutes. Won’t go back again."
