"Had an issue with the polyurethane bubbling and peeling within 6 months of Designers Choice refinishing the hardwood floors. I called Designers Choice and explained the situation I was told Ron was out and would call me back. After not receiving a call back several weeks later, I called them again. Same answer as before. After multiple calls to them Ron finally called me back weeks later. He eventually came to my house in early March looked at the floors and said that should not be happening and has never seen that happen before. He told us they will warranty it. He said he would have Jason call me and get the work scheduled. Several months went by without hearing back from them then my wife started calling every day. She received the same answer, Ron will call you back. Several months later with DC not calling us back we went into the store. When in the store Ron's wife Kim told us she would text Ron and have him call us. Ron finally called back and tried to blame the issue on not having a humidifier and that he would not warranty the floors. We have a whole house humidifier so that is not the issue. The issue is with the product and when something goes wrong Ron likes to blame the issue on the windows, a humidifier, dogs or whatever else he can come up with. This is a common practice for him if you look at his Google and Angie's list reviews. He lied to us about the warranty. This is horrible customer service and I will never recommend them again. Update- Ron returned to our house with the installer and showed them all the problem areas. While Ron was there I pointed out a piece of the flooring where there was along piece of hair that was polyurethane over. His response was that sometimes happens and acted like no big deal. and should not be fixed. After they left Ron called me and said they will come back out in a few days to test the floor for water damage. Take a guess what happened? The typical no call no show."

"Designers choice did an exceptional job with our lvp flooring. Their installers were prompt and thorough. They cleaned up daily and finished the job ahead of projection. We love our new floors. Thanks Designers choice."

"Designer's Choice came well recommended to us but the experience we've had with them couldn't have been worse. They quoted scope and price of job but never completed work. I had to remove half of the old flooring in our home because their installer showed up before they had removed it. And yes, they charged us for complete removal. The installation was poorly done. They never replaced the quarter-round shoe. We have a stair landing that the wooden flooring isn't square on and the carpeting ordered for the stairs was the wrong color. Additionally, we STILL have a hall closet without carpet because they didn't order enough. To top it off, they held our debit card on file and recently charged nearly $2000 to cover what they claim they initially shorted our bill--15 months after installation. This is criminal in my mind and I suggest that anyone doing business with them, not pay with a credit or debit card!"
