"Desiree was great. I was confident going in, having checked out her Instagram. She listened to what I wanted and used to her expertise to give me a version that was best for my face and hair type. I am quiet/introverted but she was easy to talk to. The hair products smell delicious and left my hair feeling soft and smooth for days. The salon has a lot of natural light and is well spaced, so it didn't feel loud or crowded. Highly recommend."
"Super cute salon, the stylists are so genuine and nice and want the best for you!! I didn’t bring really any pictures at all, and completely trusting the stylist’s opinion for my hair type and texture and she absolutely delivered and devoured. I’ve noticed a lot of people in my circles talked about having bad experiences here, but upon further investigation, they somehow didn't communicate with the stylist properly, and got mad about it. People expect hairstylists to be miracle workers, which for the most part they are in a way. I feel like that’s the same scenario with a lot of these bad reviews on here. They weren’t honest about their hair history, or expected something that they didn’t communicate, and didn’t speak up when unhappy. This salon is great, or maybe just my stylist was, either way, will absolutely return every time."
"I’ve been coming to Skyline for years to get my hair cut and colored. Every stylist I’ve worked with has been so knowledgeable and skilled, but Jasmine is one of my favorites. She asks really good clarifying questions to make sure we’re on the same page before she does anything and talks through my ideas to make sure I know what to expect. Everyone here is so kind and you can tell they really love what they do."
"I was completely butchered at this salon. I booked a full highlight and hair cut appointment. My appointment was at 5pm and they apparently closed at 8 so I felt it was a little rushed. The stylist says don’t worry that it looks a little dark and yellow, it’s the toner she used and it will lighten up when I wash it. I should’ve known something bad happened when she had to call another stylist over to look at my hair in the bowl. I go home and take a look in the mirror and I cry. It’s yellow, it’s orange, it’s splotchy. It is not highlights. It’s like she tried to dye all of the front portion of my hair blonde and added some highlights in the back. She just took chunks and cut them out of my hair as my layers. I have blunt chunks just all over my head. I call the next day to ask for a redo because I’m literally crying about how bad I look. They schedule me for a redo at 5pm, but then I call back and reschedule for an earlier time because I expressed concern about her not having enough time to fix this because it’s a color correction. The receptionist assured me she would have enough time but scheduled me at 2 instead anyways. I go for my redo and she re bleaches and tones and then tells me sorry she has another client and doesn’t have time to fix my cut. Great. I go home and it’s still yellow, it’s still blotchy. Just a little lighter of a yellow. My roots have orange. I don’t even know if this can be fixed. $310 and I’m devastated."
