"I’m a general contractor and shop here a couple of times a week. From window repair to water meter fittings and everything in between, I highly recommend Midland Hardware for any project you start (and need help finishing) on an older house in KC. I NEVER ask for help in a big box store. I climb shelves when I need something, grab one of their ladders on wheels, or use their apps to find a product. Best case scenario, the help at Home Depot avoids you; worst case, they give you misinformation or send you on a wild goose chase for a product you’re looking for. At Midland, I’m always greeted and taken to the product location. They can also order whatever you need. It takes longer to park than to find and buy what you need (you’re in-and-out). One of their floor clerks was my neighbor for seven years when I lived a couple of blocks away. I moved but will continue to shop there as long as Nick owns it."
