"I’ve been coming to great clips for well over 3 years now to get my son’s hair cut along with my husbands for much longer and everyone is usually really nice but after this weekends experience with a certain stylist we will not be back. We checked in like normal through the app and when we got there she called my son’s name so we got up and waited for her to check others in, no big deal. I made sure to let her know my son has sensory issues before we started. We’ve struggled getting his hair cut because of this. She seemed understanding and willing to do it up until it was time to when her tone and body language shifted. My son sat on my lap like he always does.she tries to put the cape on and I tell her it’s ok I’ll just take his shirt off. Hair cuts scare him and he doesn’t like the cape because he feels claustrophobic. So I always take off his shirt so the hair can be blown off with a blow dryer. She gets out her clippers and he starts moving his head so I hold his head (like I do every time) it doesn’t hurt him nor can she hurt him. She proceeds to tell me that if I have to hold his head that she will not cut his hair. I just look at her in shock of what she said because I’ve done this for 3 years now and no one has ever said they wouldn’t do it. It’s not hurting him nor could she hurt him. I did everything I could to comfort him in this moment along with my husband. I get it that cutting his hair is time consuming and frustrating because he’s crying but if you would of just taken the time to show him everything u were doing before doing it, it would have comforted him where he would of been ok. But instead we had to walk out without my husbands or my sons hair cut. I have never been more embarrassed by u asking us to leave or frustrated at one single person ever in my life. You had no patience for my son. And proceeded to say stuff about him to your coworker as we were walking out the door. In the time we have been going there I have not seen this lady so Im not sure if she is new but that still doesn't mean you couldn’t have been understanding. Or if u didn’t feel you could do it, offer another stylist who could."

"Super friendly stylists and regardless of which I get, they've taken great care of me. Every time I've been here in 2023, they always have enough staff available to keep wait times under 30 minutes. I stop here on the way home from the lake specifically because of that."

"Staff is very professional & just NICE. I had an issue I felt very self-conscious about & the stylist acted like it was no big deal. Which was great cuz it was a super huge strange issue I'd never dealt with B4. Definitely going back next time!"

"Went in this morning, no wait. Stylist was super friendly and on her game. Knew exactly what I wanted yet listened to me explain it. Been here twice and highly recommend. Normally I don’t wear purple however, I am a fan now lol A++++"
