"My wife's great-grandfather used to run this place as a pharmacy starting in the 1920s. We stopped by to see a healthy old building still standing proud, with a vibrant business running inside. We're pleasantly surprised to see the old entryway tiles still spelling out "Drugs" and a marquee sign proudly announcing "Highland - Since 1918"! Can't comment on the actual service provided, but the place was busy (always a good sign of a quality operation) and the operators as well as the customers were friendly and loved hearing of the store's heritage."

"Everyone is so chill. Their nails is bomb. However I don’t like their pet roach. I feel so bad saying this but some people don’t like their pet roach. I be so worried that one day their pet roach will nibble on my leg or crawl in my purse and i’ll be taking their pet home by accident. They might like their pet roach but Im afraid of it and you might be too as a client. I still go here, but the day that I don’t will be because their pet roach crawls on me. My family didn’t believed me when I say that I’ve seen little bugs crawling around the salon so I had to film it. Sorry to mention this. I hope this salon gets rid of their pet roaches and horse flies."

"if you’re not sure about getting your nails slayed here—do it!! i’ll definitely be going back when i need a fill. update: i went back and i’m so happy with my new set ♡ first experience: i walked in without an appointment and was seated immediately. the chairs were comfortable as well. the tech who applied and shaped my acrylics was INCREDIBLE. his technique was amazing and he examined the nails from literally every angle. i’ve never had such a perfectly symmetrical set. the gel polish application was okay; they came out a little bit lumpy in some areas but it’s not very noticeable. overall, she was able to do exactly what i asked for with a matte base and glossy tips. this salon is absolutely worth supporting! second experience: just as good if not better than the first time i was there. the pricing was very reasonable ($40 for a gel polish removal and acrylic fill plus cat eye marble gel polish) and the staff was great just like last time. this is my new go-to nail shop!"
