Party City

"All the party citys have gone down hill. Terrible employees they have hired who have awful customer service skills. This is the 3rd one I’ve been to in this area & i will never go to this business for party supplies ever again."

"I brought in balloons for this store to blow up today. The young girl that was working the front desk ended up popping one of the balloons. I asked if they could offer a replacement and was told that they don't offer replacements for outside balloons. That was understandable, but then when I asked for a refund for the money I just gave them to blow up the balloon I was told they don't offer refunds for outside balloons because they aren't guaranteed that they won't pop. We were forced to buy a brand new balloon for $11 for one balloon. I mentioned that they should probably warn people that outside balloons aren't guaranteed and that refunds aren't offered even if they pop it. The worker responded by saying well it was only $1.70 for the air that you paid for, and acted like I was being annoying to her. I said ok but I paid for the balloon and I paid for the air, and my money was wasted and then I had to spend more money on a new balloon. That was the end of our interaction. It ended up taking her almost 30 minutes to blow up 8 balloons. THEN when I got to my son's party next door, that I was late for because of her taking so long to blow up the balloons, I noticed she didn't even tie the balloons in a knot. They were single tied and already coming completely untied by the time we got next door. Thankfully we had carried them by the strings because otherwise those balloons would have blown away in the wind outside on the way to our party. She absolutely knew that she did that. She meant to leave them unknotted. There is no way she did that by accident. She didn't even say anything to us when she was done blowing up the balloons. She just tossed them towards the end of the counter and walked away. She had such a poor attitude, I will never be back. I wish I could have gotten her name to lodge a formal complaint, but she didn't even give me a receipt. Terrible customer service."

"The store was nice but was unable to find the birthday supplies we needed. The cashier was friendly, but the other employee was less than helpful and it seemed like we were bothering her when we asked about an item we were trying to find."

"They had a decent selection of Halloween costumes and accessories. There was a set of earrings that said 6 sets and there were only 5 sets and every package on the hook was like this. Must have been a manufacturing defect. I asked if it could be discounted due to this, and the manager had no problem with it and apologized about it. No blame on anyone. Things happen."

"I bought 6 helium balloons on Saturday and picked them up at 2:00 pm for a baby shower on Sunday, at 10:00 am. By Saturday evening they were completely deflated and on the floor!! I was very disappointed in my purchase! I did not purchase the ‘extra’ helium to make it last longer because the event was less than 24 hours from when I picked up the order!!! They should have lasted at least that long!!"
