Gioia's Deli Valley Park

"I don't get to " the Hill " much any more. This Italian Deli in Fenton/Valley Park was a Very welcome find. GREAT sandwich's and salads !!! I highly recommend... And it's Tessa approved !"

"Ballas and Macklind have never turned down my request to add marinara to a hot salami sandwich. Apparently they don't have enough here. This is the first "Italian Deli" I've been to in my life that doesn't offer oregano. Seriously. Ballas and Macklind do, or at least did. Even Jimmy John's offers oregano. I'll stick to other locations."

"Gioias is the best sandwhich you can get In st. Louis. They have been in business almost a century for good reason. The home hot salami, a instant classic. This place is immaculately clean, the workers where super friendly, fast, and most importantly delicious. ****** Pay Attention Folks ****** #1 Con / major issue with this place, if you buy a a frozen pizza and a sandwich and eat in. DO NOT and I repeat DO NOT forget to grab the pizza / pizzas before leaving. I am a RERE and have two this twice since they have opened. The only reason the atmosphere isn't higher is because of the lack of indoor seating. Other than that this place knocks it out of the park."

"Everytime I have ordered food it has been great. Its always so busy there is never a place to sit. I went in today to order food. Tried to pay with cash and was told that the only size bill I had was not accepted. Very disappointed because the food is so expensive anyway that my bill was almost half of the bill I tried to pay with. I made a special trip out here just to be turned down because I was trying to pay with cash instead of a card."

"Brothers and sisters, you gotta get to Gioia's Deli!!! They're pretty much the best sandwich money can buy. Not only are they friendly to every face that walks in the door, they make your sandwich exactly the way you want it, and they give generous portions. I should have taken a picture of my beautiful food, but it didn't last that long. We wolfed down a hot roast beef sandwich, big Italian, and a veggie for the wife. Now I want to try the entire menu. The Valley Park location is where we went, and I can't wait to get back there!! Thank you, Gioia's Deli!!!"
