"We rented a canoe at Caplinger Woods over the weekend and had an incredible experience. The staff was friendly and went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. The canoe itself was comfortable and clean - it looked brand new. Their store was small, but don't let that deceive you - they can outfit anyone with everything needed to fish, canoe, float, or camp. They also sell firewood, food, and beer. We were so happy with the crew and our canoe trip down the river! We will definitely return!"

"This little hidden gem is a great place to visit! This was our first time visiting Caplinger Woods & I wish we knew about this place sooner because we will definitely be back soon! The shower house/restrooms were extremely clean & well kept. The grounds were nice & shaded. The store at the top of the hill was very clean, well stocked with quality products at a very affordable price! I expected everything to be marked up for convenience but surprisingly it wasn't at all. The whole experience was 10/10 EXCEPT for the pick-up from the river/the bus ride back to the camp ground. Our bus driver was very grumpy and rude to us. The rest of the staff was VERY polite and helpful but unfortunately, the woman driving the bus was far from that. Aside from that minor issue, I highly recommend Caplinger Woods for your next camping and/or floating experience!"
