"I love the regular customers, and the fact that Funko Pops are sold here. I love how the owner knows all the customers and goes out of his way to help everyone. The store has brand new Slurpee machines and a brand new top of the line soda fountain. The drink selection in the cooler doors is constantly changing to meet the customers needs. And the General Manager is cute also."
"The cashier was playing loud rap music when I walked in and was rude during checkout.. He was aggressive towards me for no reason and I even heard him say some curse words directed to me as I was opening the door to leave… I did nothing to provoke him at all either and even thanked him for bagging my drinks I bought.. Seemed like he was just sizing me up because I’m a bigger guy who likes to workout. This 711 has always been ghetto with the employees they hire."
"I went in to pick up an order. The girl wearing a fort osage indians hoodie was rude as can be. She genuinely looks to hate her job and or life? Monotoned saying "what can i do for you?" As if im ruining her shift by coming in. When it wasnt ready "well we need a minute" no apologetic emotions or anything. Hands down worst employee i ever dealt with"
"Stopped in to get Slurpees and Lotto tickets. Was told Cash Only for the tickets. Never encountered this issue anywhere. Got home, looked up on MO lottery website, MO lottery allows for purchase of tickets with card. This location permanently lost a customer over this, I'll go down the road for my slurpees and lotto tix."
"I was approached by a male employee outside while I was waiting in my car for my husband to buy me a drink. He stood in front of my car, and forced eye contact with me, until I finally was like, what?, with my eyes. He had curly hair, glasses, and was heavy set. It made me super uncomfortable. He walked around to my car, without a mask and was trying to get me to roll down my window, but my husband walked outside and asked him if there was a problem? He then started getting an attitude with my husband, and said I looked upset, and that if my husband got physical, it would be over for him. It was extremely invasive and creepy, for this employee to get so intrusive and threatening to me and my husband. He was implying I was upset because of my husband? I don’t know. Either way, if i’m not like being abused in front of his eyes, I don’t see why it was okay for him to confront me and make assumptions about my facial expressions in a dark parking lot, only to then threaten my husband and ultimately make me feel extremely uncomfortable and feel like he was invading my personal space and privacy. This is 711, not 911. I am happily married and was just patiently waiting for my husband to buy me a drink. I was not upset. I was actually in a good mood. Now I feel weird about ever going to this gas station. Am I going to be interrogated every time I come here? Is this what they pay their employees to do? I didn’t know this was a batters women’s shelter. What the hell?"
