"If I could rate this company a zero, I would! I had my car towed to the company to fix my transmission (after they confirmed they could do the work). They called me to pick up my car one or two days later stating they completed the job and test drive to ensure the problem was fixed. I had my car towed back to my residence, only to notice the issue was not fixed! I called the manager Mike and he stated he would look into it and to call back at 1:30p the next day. I called back and received no answer, so I left a voice message requesting a call back. Mike did return my call at closing, but was very unprofessional, unsympathetic, and overall unreasonable! I informed him the issue was not fixed and he stated he was willing to look at it again but at my expense! How should this be at my expense when the original issue was not fixed? Then he stated to me “I don’t have to lie to you!” Who says that to a customer? Do save yourself some money and time and find another mechanic! I do not recommend this company at all!!! Update: I received a call from Kevin about two weeks ago regarding the complaint and he stated Mike misunderstood they never drove the car. Kevin did state they would pay for the tow to fix the problem that was never fixed, but who wants someone to fix something a second time that was not initially addressed the first time? My car is at another shop and they are completing the work that Geared Up was responsible for! How sad! I disputed the charge because the issue was never addressed and they are still requesting money! Horrible! Also, this company is the same company that was located on Lilac and is not accredited by the BBB and have a D rating!!! I repeat, I do NOT recommend this company!"
