They were all clean with little or no damage or flaws I could find. The prices were unbelievable. I’d already been to several appointments that day. Finding only one or two dresses from each store worth trying on. I was about to pay $1400 plus alteration at a different bridal shop. The dresses at Brides by Design were better than the one I was going to pay 3 times more for. The owner treasures each dress she has. She showed me dresses in the style I was looking for. She also pulled dresses completely different than I’d imagine myself in. I’m so lucky she did. If you’re looking for a budget friendly wedding dress make sure you stop at Brides By Design. There isn’t another place in St. Louis that compares to their quality and price when looking for a budget friendly or dress on short notice."

"Sarah provided a wonderful experience for me and my kids (this is my 2nd marriage). Once you set the appointment, you are the only ones in the place. She allowed me to try on as many dresses as I wanted, helped with getting in the dress and provided top notch service the whole time. I did have an appointment after where the service was nothing like what Sarah provided. Sarah allowed me to come back the same day and say yes to the dress that I fell in love with. Everything is off the rack, and there is a ton of selection, even for the curvier brides (like me). You will have a great experience at this shop, I highly recommend adding it to your list!"

"I had THE MOST wonderful experience getting my wedding dress here! I only had a 3-month engagement and had to buy off the rack. I searched and searched at many stores, found dresses I liked but there was always at least one thing that I didn’t like about each dress. Too many low-cut and revealing busts, beautiful back OR front of the dress but not both, or it was strapless when I really wanted straps. I am 41 years old and have never been married. When I put one dress on my sister exclaimed, “That’s it! That’s your dress! It’s all the things you wanted and I have never seen a more beautiful dress!” And she was right! This was THE dress! Sarah was also working tirelessly to help my mom find a Mother-of-the-Bride dress as well—which she found a few sizes too big but had it altered to make her look stunning as well. I would recommend this shop over and over again! I bought my dress, earrings, feather hairpiece, and my mom bought her dress—all here. We were flooded with nothing but compliments on my wedding day.
