"I really dislike being the person that writes a review that seems somewhat bad, but... I read about this place after Zaxbys closed a couple of their local units here in the area. So, we came here not knowing what to fully expect. As you can see from the photos the standard burger and fries with a drink and a large strawberry shake. In this area of Overland Park, Kansas a mediocre burger is just a waste of ink on the menu, but the bright spot of this visit is the other options on the menu. They offer a very good selection of soups, salads, wraps, pork tenderloin, roast beef sandwiches all looked satisfying on the menu, this will be another visit. The shakes are tasty and fries were served hot. Also offered are SPECIALS, ask first before ordering from the overhead menu. Still decorated for christmas..."
"Had a father/daughter day & were both craving burgers. Neither of us had been to a Beef-A-Roo before, so we made the choice to check out something new. Burgers were good (I'm a sucker for a good mushroom Swiss burger), fries were flavorful (and the seasoning packets were a nice added touch). Bonus points for including a pair of Ande's chocolate mints for each of us to enjoy after our meal. Will definitely be back."
"I went through drive- thru and it took a bit longer than usual so in my head I’m thinking the foods going to be A1. Lady at the window was very nice, so customer service is great! But the food was absolutely horrible. If you get fries you better eat them right away because they’ll go hard and stale after about 5 mins. I got the beef and cheddar, it was bland. I’d recommend them getting back in the kitchen to brainstorm food creation methods, I was so disappointed for wasting my money."
"Nice people that work there. Nice clean atmosphere. Food wasn't that great. Unfortunately, this establishment is up against a lot of other competitors. Around $15 for a double cheeseburger, cheese fries and a drink."
