D'Bronx Pizza

"We stopped in recently 30 minutes to close and it was not a great experience. Cashier had ear buds in talking on the phone while taking our order, staff had already turned the ovens off & had to turn them back on for us. We weren’t even the only customers still comig in to order. I understand prepping to close but the was another level of closing before closing time. We got our food to go and it was less than desirable. I can’t blame the late time of day. It was just not good and a waste of money. We ordered multiple items and none of it was good. Most went in the trash."

"The cashier was nice. The employee behaved as if I wa doing her a fact by being there. Pizza is my favorite food. It’s my day off from work and was hoping for an optimal dining experience. I ordered a whole pizza. I am not sure I will dine here again. The employee I was referring to was the blond lady. Not the one I said that was nice. Great pizza! No one asked me how U was doing."

"Another first try for this pizza restaurant. It is a counter order and you order by the slice. The slice I got was deluxe and made to order I think because it came out piping hot fresh from the oven. My sister had a side salad that was large enough for two people and very good and fresh. I wasn't able to take pictures because we were hungry and just dug in. I will be back the next time I am in KC. We tried the cranberry cake also and it was great."

"Great lunch spot! Our first time here so I had to try a couple different options. Prices are very reasonable! Of course went with NY style pizza, the special was fabulous. Very nice crunch. Not as large as the slices in the Bronx but still foldable and delicious. I loved the Israeli salad. Very fresh! Also great veggie choice is the potato laktes. Customer in line said the Ruben was the best in the area. We didn’t try it but his looked good."

"Walked in, not knowing where to order or what to do, or even WHAT to order. We were greeted by a nice young gentleman behind the display case that holds the "by-the-slice" pizza pies. He immediately engaged in conversation with us about the available options. Judy was at the counter, too, and she took the time to explain some of the history of the restaurant. Her father's picture still hangs on the wall in the dining area. A charming, clean, comfortable environment. Food was authentic, delicious, and fresh. We had the Antipasto salad, single slices of cheese, and the DBronx pizzas. Ended up taking two pies back to Topeka! 19 dollars seems like a lot for a pizza, but these are NY style, and NY Doesn't mess around when it comes to their pizzas. These are big! Judy and all the staff are amazing. Will be coming back again!"
