"I'm from Argentina and I'm visiting St Louis to see America. Me and my friend went to Par Lounge and they refused to serve me because I did not have an American ID. This place is not friendly to foreigners! I would never recommend going here."

"Update 15-September-2023 In reference to the poor response from the owner: Ive worked in the service industry for 10+ years. I was more commenting on the unprompted and rude behavior of your door guy. Though I guess I'd be in a bad mood too if I looked the way he does, in his 40s and working the door at a bar. I hope things get better for him. I have been to this place a few times, and the bartenders always seemed unhappy/unfriendly. I went there again about a week ago to meet a group of friends. The door guy told me there was a cover at the door, it didn't appear there was live music or drink specials, as I was deciding if it was worth it, he started repeating "goodbye" to me and my date. Unsolicited, and aggressively disrespectful before I even walked in the door. I'll never go back. And I'd encourage others not to give them money too."
