"We started off with a 50 minute wait which is expected. Once we got seated we ordered right away by looking at the menu online prior to being seated. It saved everyone time. We had the chicken fried steak, cheeseburger, and the monte cristo sandwich. Everything was great and left little to nothing behind. The service was nice and fast. Definitely Recommended!!!"

"What a wonderful experience from the time we walked in the door and greeted with a smile and positivity, seated immediately with the convenience of joining the wait list and attentive service until it was time to leave. Our group size of 5 was well taken care of by Ms. Cherine. The food was amazing, portions were large in size, and my goodness the shrimp, butter croissants, ribs and fish even down to the french fries were so delightful!"

"Bff and I went to oak park mall today and lunch at cheddars was a must per my bff. No tables available but we could sit at the bar and eat! BONUS! My first time here so I relied on bffs recommendations. Our server was fantastic! She brought our diet soda and water straight away despite being quite busy. Also, a plate with glazed crescent rolls was set before us. Bff urged me to try one. I took a bite and pretty much wolfed down the rest rapidly while oooing and ahhing as I chewed. Just ridiculously sweet doughy taste that literally melts in your mouth. I eyed bffs and she threatened to stab me with her fork. Okie dokie. The potato soup is a specialty and yes, it is quite special. Served HOT (yes, my friends! FINALLY, got a soup served hot!). It is a creamy, cheesy soup loaded with chunks of potatoes and bacon bits with cheese on top. The crunchy bacon is a perfect foil for the soft potato chunks. Just a burst of friendly flavors for my taste buds! I also had a side salad that was served on a dinner plate-very hefty portion. The blue cheese dressing wasn't the best I've had. It lacked the bite of real blue cheese and had little to no chunks of blue cheese. It was passable. The place is dark wood, think cracker barrel decor without the store. Our server/bartender was outstanding. Quick, extraordinarily efficient and anticipatory (napkins before we asked, etc.) A solid place to dine."

"Food was awesome. Service was good and pretty quick for the lunch rush. I got the chicken fried chicken with mashed potatoes. Probably one of the best chicken fried chickens I’ve had in a long time. They also bring out honey butter croissants for free, and those were also delicious as well."
