"What a GREAT find. We stopped here for breakfast while driving down I 44. Food was excellent but the staff were the Stars!! Eveyone was super friendly and attentive. We had a great time thank you!!"

"Recently heard of new changes at Lewis Cafe and decided to give it a try. I am so glad I did! The quality of food & the service was great but the Chicken & Waffles really won the show! They are AMAZING! The owner came out to check on us and asked if the orders were of our liking and asked if there was anything we would change about the new menu item. They are so YUMMY, I wouldn't change a thing! Who could ask for anything more than a waffle smothered in tons of chicken, bacon and sauce. I asked for butter and syrup and didn't need them at all!!!"

"I'm from St.Clair and remember coming here at least once a month for dinner when growing up. Always great food and quick service. I've since moved out of state but come back on occasion. This past Thanksgiving weekend was the first time I've been back since covid. Restaurant only serves breakfast and lunch now and there is only one waitress to service the half full restaurant. Took nearly an hour to take our order. Food seemed okay, but I rarely got breakfast there growing up, so nothing to compare it to."

"Lewis Café serves up generous portions of the ol' reliable breakfast foods. Service and prices are resonable. I had the Country Friend Steak and it was fine. A bit flavorless, but with some salt it held its own."
