"I almost never give reviews anymore but I gotta say, Steak n shake never disappoints! For $20 you can get two solid meals with milkshakes.... I mean that's cheaper then ANY other fast food place! The burgers are grilled up fresh to order and they just rock everytime. Add to that a friendly staff and its a no brainer!"

"Place was fairly empty but all the tables were full of trash. First booth they went to set us at had food and drink rings all over it. Got a dirty look when we stood up and moved . Found a clean table but chairs were covered with crumbs. With three tables they lost our order so we spent 50 minutes here for fast food. Burgers were ok fries were way too salty and mushy. This is the least amount of fries I had ever seen. The only steak and shake I will ever eat at again is the one at lake of the ozarks. The ones in Sedalia and Kansas City are just as dirty!"

"Food was good. Steak n Shake has had a turbulent history when it comes to the quality. But this S'nS was very good. Food was hot and fresh. Wait staff was friendly and courteous. We got there right after the lunch rush, and the staff was still energetic, thoughtful and considerate. We just had #1 with onion rings and soda. Loved it. Atmosphere is still a burger joint, and clean which is important! Thank you!"

"Paid $15 for two meals and two shakes. Got home from the South Campbell location drove all the way to Republic where we live. I had this sloppy burger and a fry and our shakes. Called the manager she wasn’t willing to do anything about it. She couldn’t care less."

"Floors were dirty with wet paper towels on the floor. Food was fresh and our server was very polite and friendly. The manager was cursing and being very unprofessional behind the counter as well as out on the floor. Limited menu. I generally like S&S but will not be returning to this location."
