"This is one of my favorite places ever! The people are always so kind and the food is always amazing! Today I came here with my mama for a few drinks. We were immediately greeted with a smiling face and a happy environment! We sat at the bar and were served by Nichole! She was absolutely amazing! She was so kind and attentive! I never went without a drink. She made sure that she knew our names! Made us feel like we were friends rather than customers! Great experience and Nichole is a lovely person!!!"

"Pros: (1) Varied menu (2) Pretty tasty Hawaiian chicken bowl Cons: (1) Feels expensive for what you get (about $2-$3 too high) (2) Slightly slow service (Tuesday night) (3) Vegetarian burger wasnt really a burger - instead it was a type of bean spread"

"How has anyone given this more than two stars? Where do you guys normally eat? My wife got the “big” barley sandwich ($13)which is the same size as my daughters kids hamburger ($7.5). The only difference being the lettuce and tomato being served on the “big” burger. I got the spicy chicken sandwich which was more like a spicy greasy sandwich. The restaurant wasn’t very busy but the staff seemed overwhelmed. Likely poorly managed. Menu is underwhelming. Not the same Barley’s it was 20 years ago. $120 for 2 adults and 2 kids. I’ll go somewhere else next time."

"The princess and I met some friends here for brunch today. It's easy to find in overland park about 20 minutes south of Waldo , west of Quivera on 119th street. Plenty of parking and outdoor patio seating is available. The atmosphere is nice , casual, bright and clean. I'm sorry to say that even though the restaurant was not at all busy our waitress was quite slow maybe it's bezza the princess ordered the bottomless mamosa. I had the eggs Benedict and it was average at best. The princess ordered the chicken and waffles. Both the chicken and waffles were very dry."
